Regis Frey is a boy who makes stuff and puts it on the web. These are his thoughts, writings, and artworks.
Pie Guy stuttered a lot on my 1st gen iPod Touch. Neven mentioned using a 3GS but you can’t disregard older models. I have a openGL first person shooter that runs great using native api’s but your simple 2d web game can’t make 12 frames per second. That’s a poor argument for web technologies.
AT&T wants you to know that Verizon only has twice as much coverage in urban areas, not five times as much. So you know they aren’t that much better.
I think AT&T should stop equivocating and make their network not suck.
From the looks of it ChromeOS is really just Chrome plus the most minimal OS accouterments: logins, wifi setup, power controls, basic document handling [passes them to Google Docs (gview_request_interceptor.cc)]. A slick idea. Probably going to use the built in ftp support (with a brushed up CSS theme) to do the file browsing, besides your content will be indexed and searchable, this is Google.
When life gets hectic certain things get put on hold until things calm down or one figures out how to work in the new environment. This blog is one of the things put on hold in my life as I try to juggle school, work, friends, projects, and sleep. I’ll get back to it eventually as is my way with things.
I’m borrowing a friends touch because she wants to sell it. I’m loving it so far and I think I’m going to offer to buy it from her. I’m typing this on the phone. It’s wonderful.
“If you did not write every day, the poisons would accumulate and you would begin to die, or act crazy or both — you must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.” - Ray Bradbury
I’ve been getting into blogging, or tumbling as they call it here. It’s a release and an exercise in creation: the kind I need to not fill up with idleness. I also enjoy being subscribed to EatSleepDraw which forces art (of varying quality) down my metaphorical throat and gets me in the mood to draw something.
I love to create and the more I fashion the more excited I get to begin on the next thing.
When I saw the Merchline logo I immediately thought of the Matchbox Windows Manager. I wonder which one came first?
Albeit a geeky, never get to sit at the popular table, spends to much time on the computer, and gets beat up by the jocks style. ~via playgrounder
MacHeist 2010 will include iPhone applications (at least one, likely as a special extra, but not as an application companion [i.e. Delicious Library + Delicious Library for iPhone]).
Will it happen. Lets wait and see.
